My Online Life and Stuff ?

Ok so let's be honest everyone's done it or at least every geek has done it... You've Goggled Yourself. Search your name, your address whatever..
If you are like me choosing to be publicly visible then you will be forced to accept the fact that you can be found in some way, however I find myself contemplating removing my private site and limiting my exposure on the Internet these days. The nature of my job makes it really difficult for me to be completely private however my stats on this site have been blown out of the water lately because of unwanted visitors and the amount of Google queries for my name, address and phone numbers, email address, work history etc... I'm a geek and I choose to track this shit so don't be all... Wha Wha I didn't do nothin...
There is a reason only friends have access to this information and those friends know why. Ten visits a day from the same source / IP Range in Ireland will not reveal any additional information regarding my life, my location or anything else.
Am I at the point now where privacy has become a concern beyond my standard level of paranoia (Orange). Do I need to disappear again or trawl through my online activities and memberships to ensure my private information remains private.
Moving to Canada gave me this option in a way.. I left my old life behind discarding addresses, phone numbers and in some cases associations, building everything new when I moved here..
As I sit here on a Friday morning hung-over from an amazing work event last night I find myself thinking of different ways to tackle this, those being the calm and quiet approach to the more aggressive angry. However on reflection I've come to the conclusion why should I hide? why should I feel the need to audit my life in a way that makes me uncomfortable?
The offending visitor/s will read this and wake up to the fact that yes I'm out here I'm in the public domain and no I do not want any contact in anyway.

I'm tired today, it's been a busy week and I have a lot to do in coming days to prep for business travel, so I can be excused if rant on my own blog. Those who know me well enough will actually understand :)
